This is a great site, lurking around for a few years now, some contributors have been real great source of help and information. Hope soem of you can help me out with my dillema here.

I am about to get my once in a while fix and want to get a new iron set. its between the Tour Stage GR C1 and the Epon AF 502.

Wondering if any-one knows which one is more friendly (forgiving). I read somewhere that the GR C1 has a thinner sole than the previous TS GR (2008 model with the hollowed-out cavity). was going to go for the TS GR C1 until I read about their sole being thinner and just want to have some input about this. Have used the X-Blade CB 2006 model and found the sole was very accommodating but was immediately attracted to the Mizuno MP 60 at the time it came-out. Was using the Mizuno's and loved it but started to mess-around with the lie angles and things got out of control where I did'nt know if it was my swing or the changes in the lie-angle that may have changed the loft and other characteristics of the club-face, in short my game sort of dis-integrated..he..hehe. So as many of you have also, no doubt been thru it also, best way to go under this situation, is to get a new set all together. I have been using the KZG Evelutions lately, while it is good and reliable I find that it has quite a small sweet-spot and distance is not consistent, except for the PW which has great feel and control. So this is my current predicament. Epons or TS X Blade GR-C1??? both using NS Prro 950's. also the YAmaha Inpres 2010 D steel would have been my choice but the pricing I got was not good.

Hope some-one can give me input? Thanks.
